Bodegas Langa’s La Gavacha 2020 is a bold, expressive Spanish red wine crafted from 90-year-old Garnacha vines grown at high altitude in Calatayud, a rising star in Aragón’s wine scene. Granted DO status in 1990, Calatayud is now one of Spain’s top-quality red wine regions, known for its mountainous terroir and old vines. Produced by Viñedos de Altura, a progressive cooperative focused on small-scale, quality-driven viticulture, this wine is hand-harvested and aged for 12 months in French oak, offering richness, structure, and balance.. TASTING NOTES. Deep cherry red in colour, this Garnacha delivers an aromatic blend of dark fruits, ripe red berries, and savoury balsamic notes, laced with warm spice and minerality.
