Its name comes from Maris, Latin for "of the sea," and Elle, French for "she" — together, she of the sea. Two seahorses, symbols of protection, strength and magic, unite on the label. These gentle ocean guardians mirror Mariselle’s elegance and quiet resilience. Created by Majestic’s Head of Buying, Matthew Fowkes, in collaboration with the dedicated team at Château Gassier, this rosé captures the very essence of Provence: sun-drenched vineyards cooled by coastal breezes, planted in soils enriched by clay and limestone. The maritime influence lends a distinct sea-salt minerality, balanced beautifully by subtle hints of zesty citrus and fragrant white flowers.
