Château Berliquet is nestled on the Magdelaine plateau, just a stone's throw from the historic town of Saint-Émilion. It boasts one of the region's oldest vineyards. With roots dating back to the 18th century, the estate has been in the hands of the de Lesquen family since 1918. Today, Patrick and Jérôme de Lesquen, alongside experts Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane Derenoncourt, carry forward its historic legacy. The 2012 vintage is aged in magnificent underground cellars and offers refined notes of ripe red fruits with a hint of earthy spice. A balanced structure makes it a perfect match for roasted meat and vegetable dishes, where the rich flavours complement the wine’s subtle oak nuances. It’s drinking well now, with the potential to age gracefully for another five years.
