Drink it now or cellar for up to 8 years. No need to decant, but best to open it half an hour before service. Located in the south of Sardinia, in the municipality of Serdiana, the Mora & Memo estate extends over about 40 hectares of vineyards about 30 km from the sea, distributed on gentle hills with an average altitude of 240 meters. Here the vineyards enjoy soils of varied composition, with clay, sand, and limestone, and a Mediterranean climate with sea breezes that carry saltiness and mitigate temperatures. The company produces excellent wines from local and international vines, according to a family winemaking tradition carried on for 4 generations. Ica is a red wine made from the native Monica grape variety, harvested by hand. After a period of maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature, fermentation takes place with selected yeasts in stainless steel vats. In the glass, the wine reveals a clear and brilliant color with light ruby ​​tones and lively purple reflections. Its aromatic profile is fragrant and captivating with notes of small red fruits and slightly spicy sensations. On the palate, it is soft and balanced with a medium body and a well-integrated tannic backbone. The finish is long and fruity. Try it with pasta all'amatriciana, cured meats, or grilled pork.
