Terrazas de los Andes Organic Malbec Reserva, Mendoza 2023/24

Great value Malbec really doesn't come much better than this. In 1990, the president of luxury goods powerhouse LVMH saw huge potential in Argentinian winemaking. So he tasked expert winemaker Hervé Birnie-Scott to explore the Mendoza hills and discover the finest vineyards available. He soon found old vines on an abandoned 1920s estate. The estate was quickly refurbished and it wasn’t long before Terrazas de Los Andes began receiving recognition and awards. Expressive and layered, this wine captures the pure, fresh taste of the Andes, with flavours of violets, black cherry, plum, black pepper, and chocolate. Its bold character makes it a great pairing for red meats.
