ABOUT THE WINE. Château Cailleteau Bergeron is a family-run estate rooted in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux. The Dartier family began their winemaking journey in 1930 with the acquisition of 2 hectares in Mazion. The estate was formally established in 1965 by the second generation, and in 1992, Marie-Pierre and Pierre-Charles Dartier took the reins, expanding the vineyard holdings to 39 hectares through strategic acquisitions. Their commitment to sustainable viticulture and precise winemaking has positioned the château as a standout in the appellation.. TASTING NOTES. The 2022 vintage is generous and expressive, offering vibrant red and black fruit aromas with underlying notes of tobacco leaf, subtle leather, and baking spice.
