ABOUT THE WINE. From limestone “costières” between Sète and Pézenas on the Mediterranean coast, Domaine Saint Peyre Picpoul de Pinet 2024 channels sea breeze and sun into a crisp, saline white. Picpoul (the grape) thrives here by the Bassin de Thau—home of Bouzigues oysters—yielding a wine that’s quintessentially coastal Languedoc.. TASTING NOTES – 2024. Pale lemon with green glints. Aromas of lemon zest, lime blossom and white peach with hints of honeysuckle and a touch of sea spray. Lively and ultra-crisp on the palate: citrus and green apple framed by vibrant acidity and a clean, saline finish. Refreshing, light and impeccably moreish.. FOOD PAIRING. Made for oysters, mussels and grilled white fish; excellent with prawn tacos, salade niçoise, or vegetarian dishes like cauliflower & potato gratin with Gruyère. Also perfect as a chilled apéritif.
