Miraval ‘Sainte Victoire’ Rosé 2023/24, Côtes-de-Provence Sainte-Victoire

Château Miraval first shot to fame when it was acquired by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Hollywood links aside, the standard of winemaking is what truly gives it star quality status. It’s managed by the Perrin family – the first name in the Southern Rhône. When our buyers set up a rosé tasting panel for the season ahead, this bottle was the real standout. It’s made from vines in the prestigious Sainte Victoire region of Provence. The higher ground here brings cooler temperatures, which equates to an elegant wine, full of fresh flavours. Our rosé buyer, Matt Fowkes, called it a “rosé wine for white wine lovers.” Expect lively notes of red berries, white peach and red apple. A persistent minerality makes it wonderfully refreshing, so pair its crisp acidity with salads and seafood.
