Blend Green Clay

"This deep, calming green will reconnect you with nature with its earthy undertones." Green Clay was a fun colour to create. I wanted some additional depth to the shade whilst still maintaining its earthy and muted tones to keep a balanced and calming feeling to the colour. When it came to naming this one I got a little stuck with options so popped it out there to our original Insta fans on DCO and we had a final and overwhelming vote for Green Clay! This bolder shade is a great option where you’re wanting to embrace the darkness in a north facing room, or will help to bring the feeling of nature and the outdoors as a feature wall in any other room orientation! Decorating with green can bring so many benefits to your home as its deeply associated with calmness, balance and nature! It’s also the colour of growth and renewal (like actors wait in a green room!) making it a great choice when transforming your home interior. Saturated greens can overwhelm whereas greyish greens, sage tones and khaki’s can often read as a neutral but with the benefit of the green undertones to bring calm and harmony.
