Levada do Moinho and Levada Nova - Private

Discover one of Madeira’s most authentic walks in the late afternoon, in a small private group (1-4 people), away from the crowds and in total connection with nature. Along the way, we will walk through the historic Levadas do Moinho and Levada Nova, where you will have the opportunity to contemplate the beautiful Levada Nova waterfall and cross a tunnel excavated in the rock, originally built for the transportation of water. During the experience, I will share stories and curiosities about these levadas, the endemic flora, the surrounding valleys and landscapes, as well as the agricultural basins that have shaped this region for centuries. The walk ends in the charming Ponta do Sol harbour, with the possibility to dine at sunset, in a simply unforgettable setting.
