Wild Atlantic Herring Fillets

Each pack contains 4 ready to use fillets Great for making your own pickled herring A 400g pack would contain 4 x 100g fillets Herring large enough to fillet are a bit of a rarity - they all seem to be snapped up by the kipper men. But we get our hands on some from time to time. Of course, herring is unbelievably good for you with its high oil content.  We always try to source British landed herring and fillet them ourselves. When they are not available on UK fish markets, we supplement with large fillets from Norwegian herring. These fillets are ready to be cooked. If you are after a more authentic experience, these are perfect for pickling.
