Sea Bass has firm white flesh and thicker fillets than most which makes it suitable for a wide range of dishes. A superb fish with a creamy white, slightly oily flesh and good sweet flavour. The farmed origin enables us to offer it all year round.  It is a hunter with a steely blue back and silver flanks. The gill cover has a very sharp edge and is protected by two vicious spines and the wild members of the species can grow up to 1m and 5kg, but farmed fish are usually sold from 300g to 1kg.
