The Recaro Podium GF is a revolutionary seat which follows the same design as the Podium CF but is manufactured in a GFRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer) for a more cost effective option but still retaining a light weight and the same FIA 8855-1999 approval for Motorsport and ABE approval for road use. Lightweight (from only 10.9kg with padding, 8.5kg bare shell)FIA approved for Motorsport use and ABE approved for road useAccepts 3, 4, 5 and 6 point harnesses and also standard 3 point seat beltsPadding thickness options allow for a tailored fitFHR compatibleDesigned for high levels of comfort without compromising on safetyRecaro have invested a lot of research and development into making the Podium GF seat a very comfortable place to sit and the result of this is it is the first ever shell seat to obtain the seal of approval from the German campaign for healthier backs (AGR e. V). Body hugging contours with firm seat pads and deep side bolsters provide high levels of lateral support and reduced fatigue.Premium quality materials were chosen for the removable seat pads and are available with options of Perlon velour or alcantara with leather surround. The pads are specially contoured to fit the body shape and the recesses between the pads allow for airflow through the seat back to regulate body temperature and reduce perspiration. Two pad thicknesses are available giving the seat 2 size options: Medium (358mm hip width) or Large (378mm hip width).
