FloPlast Solvent Cement - 250ml

Solvent Cement is used with PVC and ABS soil and waste pipe products to make a watertight, permanent joint. Solvent weld joints cannot be demounted once the joint has been made.When using solvent cement, always work in a well ventilated area and keep the cement away from heat sources or naked flames. You should ideally wear gloves and avoid any contact with skin - if contact does occur then wash thoroughly with soap and water.To make a solvent weld joint, first ensure that the outer wall of the pipe and the inner wall of the fitting are both clean and free from grit or swarf. Apply solvent cement to both surfaces. Push the pipe fully into the fitting and give it a twist to ensure that full contact has been made. Clean off any excess solvent with a damp cloth and leave for 5 minutes to set.
