This barrier post is an elegant solution for when access roads, paths or restricted areas need to be temporarily opened up, without creating a tripping hazard once the barrier is removed. Ideal for pedestrian zones, market squares, car parks, garage driveways, archways etc. The post can be retracted in seconds using a surface hydrant key in accordance with DIN 3223: Traffic can then roll unhindered over the ground sleeve, which is concreted in almost flush with the surface. Overall height 2050 mm, of which 1150 mm is below ground. Diameter: upper section: 76 mm, lower section: 100 x 100 mm. Easy to install. The upper section can be replaced if damaged. Manual: After being unlocked, the upper section raises 50 to 80 mm out of the ground sleeve. It is then raised by hand until it locks automatically. The unlocked upper section is pushed downwards manually when being lowered. Installation note: ensure proper drainage (fill with gravel). The PARATlift may not be installed in standing water (e.g. ground water). Maintenance: important for flawless function. Remove any dirt that has accumulated, clean all moving parts and grease the locking hook at least every six months.
