ATL External Alloy Fuel Swirl Pot

Swirl pots are used in fuel injection systems to give a constant supply of fuel to the high pressure pump. Fuel is supplied to the pot usually by a separate low pressure pump from the main tank. The pot then acts as a reservoir of fuel which, unlike fuel in the main tank, is not affected by cornering forces thus eliminating fuel surge which can damage high pressure pumps or even the engine.The ATL alloy swirl pot has a capacity of 1.5 Litres and has the following inlet / outlet fittings -1 x -8 JIC Outlet 2 x -6 JIC Inlets 1 x -6 JIC Fuel Return 1 x -6 JIC Overflow back to main tank
