Featuring a unique Twin-Tangential Velocity Stack, these filters are designed to optimise airflow with less turbulence. Offering a premium level of filtration, these filters improve the protection of your engine, whilst providing better throttle response and improved acceleration, along with the potential to improve efficiency and running costs.To prevent hot/warm air from entering the cold air intake system and causing a loss of power ( known as heat soak, usually associated with unshielded open filter systems), is minimised by a heat shield that creates a physical barrier between the air filter and the rest of the engine bay and helps maintain low intake temperatures by directing the air from the factory cold air feed to the area around the filter.Where kits are designed to replace the factory airbox, a vehicle-specific laser-cut, precision folded heat shield is included.
