These air filters replace the original paper material with higher flowing woven cotton and metal mesh.The cotton weave is pre-oiled for additional filtering performance. The metal mesh helps ensure that the filter does not deform under load.The less restrictive filter element helps ensure that the engine always has enough air.Because you're retaining the original airbox, the engine bay remains stock looking. In most cases, the original airbox will be quite well designed to draw cold air from outside the engine bay.This is a great way to add power to your car either as a standalone modification or as a complement to a remap.
