Product Description

This bottom entry ball valve is an essential piece for any plumber's kit, perfect for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. Ideal for replacing tired or faulty toilet valves, it effectively stops continuous water filling. Fitting is straightforward, making it a great choice for replacing worn or damaged valves. To install: Begin by closing the toilet seat lid to prevent accidental dropping of components into the toilet. Isolate the water supply to the cistern and flush the toilet to remove any remaining water. Be mindful of any residual water in the cistern. Disconnect the water supply pipe from the tail of the ball valve. Unscrew the retaining nut and remove the old valve. Transfer the float to the new valve. Reverse the process to fit the new valve. Ensure the diverter is securely attached and directed into the cistern. Adjust the screw on the ball valve arm, initially setting it 12mm (1/2 inch) below the marked waterline to allow for diaphragm bedding. When installing a bottom entry valve, use the longer screw on the valve body to brace it against the cistern side. The rubber stopper should contact the side, keeping the valve upright. Restore the water supply and flush to confirm correct installation.
