This Eventuri Replacement Filter Element Type L has been developed to provide optimum airflow through Eventuri's custom air intake system. In real terms, this means that the engine is able to draw air very efficiently, with noticeably sharper throttle response, as well as power and torque improvements. Where the engine has a turbo(s) it will be able to achieve peak boost earlier as it will be working with less resistance. During Eventuri's testing, results have shown that their systems reduce the wastegate duty cycle by a significant percentage over the OEM system.The filter medium is a double layer non-woven dry mesh construction, which means that it will not damage MAF sensors with oil.Eventuri's bespoke cone filter design gives a much smoother airflow, eliminating the abrupt internal geometry changes found in conventional cone filter and intake pipe setups. The smooth reduction in cross-sectional area invokes an improved Venturi effect, where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. This improved design increases the velocity stack area, increasing the volume and speed of air entering the turbo which directly translates to better engine performance.Based on their extensive tuning and aeronautics background, the engineers at Eventuri are raising the standards for intake design and development.
