The ARP Tapered Piston Ring Compressors provide a solution to piston installation, whether you're a first timer or professional engine builder.The Ring Compressors are designed to allow the piston to be reinstalled in the cylinder, by compressing the piston rings. The compressors are available in a huge range of diameters to ensure direct fitment to cylinders, with the tapered surface compressing the piston rings into the piston when pressure is applied from above by the user. The range is manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminium and provides a 'true radius' for each diameter ensuring the compressors provide an accurate and precision fitment within the cylinder.
