The Sealey PHA100 is a 2-stroke petrol earth auger designed for drilling fence post holes, tree planting and ground preparation work. Powered by a 52cc 2hp petrol motor, this post hole auger drills holes up to 800mm deep and 200mm wide, making it ideal for landscapers, groundworkers and fencing contractors tackling medium to heavy-duty ground drilling applications. The unit features twin ergonomic handles that allow comfortable operation by either one or two people, reducing operator fatigue during extended use. An integrated auger brake provides essential safety protection by automatically stopping the bit from turning if it encounters hard underground impediments such as rocks or buried obstructions. This safety feature helps prevent tool damage and reduces the risk of operator injury. Supplied with three different diameter bore sizes (100mm, 150mm and 200mm), the PHA100 offers versatility for various post and planting hole requirements. The 1.2-litre fuel tank provides sufficient capacity for extended work sessions, with fuel consumption rated at 0.85 litres per hour. At 9kg without the auger bit, the machine remains manageable whilst delivering sufficient power for professional ground drilling work. An optional 250mm diameter bore (Model No. HA250) is available separately for larger diameter applications.
