The Weller Pyropen Piezo Soldering Iron is a cordless butane-powered soldering tool designed for precision soldering work in locations without mains power. Featuring push-button piezo ignition, this gas soldering iron enables convenient single-handed operation, making it particularly useful for electricians, electronics engineers and maintenance technicians working on site or in confined spaces. The tool's temperature control is achieved by adjusting the butane gas flow, allowing you to vary heat output to suit different soldering applications. With a maximum operating temperature of 500°C, the Pyropen delivers sufficient heat for most standard soldering tasks whilst maintaining the portability advantages of a cordless design. The integrated gas reservoir provides approximately three hours of continuous operation from a single fill, reducing downtime and ensuring productivity throughout the working day. The unit is supplied complete with a 3.0mm long-life soldering tip, hot blow nozzle for heat-shrink applications, heat deflector for working near sensitive components, spanner for tip changes, protective cap and full operating instructions. Gas refills are available separately using the PGR1 refill cartridge.
