9L Oil Drainer Can. A practical can for the safe and tidy transfer of oil. Directions: The engine should be warm. Turn off the engine. Remove the drainer can plug and release the small vent plug. Slide the drainer can under the engine sump. To help control oil drainage, it is recommended that the engine oil filler cap is not removed. Unscrew the sump plug and allow the used oil to drain onto the central surface of the drainer can. Screw in the sump plug, ensuring no leaks. Change the oil filter. Fill the engine with the required amount of new oil. Firmly replace the drainer can plug and the vent plug and take the used oil to an authorised oil disposal point. (In the UK, dial the National Oil Bank on 0800 663366 for your nearest disposal point.) CAUTION: Engine oil can reach high temperatures, avoid skin contact. If working under the vehicle take all appropriate safety precautions. Not suitable for petrol transportation or storage.
