Leave Porto and go walk along the Passadiços do Paiva, Arouca

Depart from Porto in a unique experience through the Passadiços do Paiva, at the UNESCO Global Geopark in Arouca. With transport included, discover one of Portugal’s most stunning landscapes. The walk follows from Areinho to Espiunca through wooden passages that follow the wild slope of the Paiva River. Along the way, admire zigzag stairs, viewpoints, cliffs and waterfalls. The Vau River Beach is ideal for a break and contemplation. Ideal for those who love nature, unique landscapes and want to explore the biodiversity and geology of the Paiva valley. Important note: Due to recent fires, about 2 km of the passages have been destroyed and will not be passed. The rest of the journey remains accessible, safe and stunning.
