Lawrence Rabbit Skin Glue Is A Traditional Glue Used In The Preparation Of Gesso. It Is Also Used As A Base For Gilded And Painted Surfaces. Use 12 Parts Cold Water To 1 Part Rabbit Skin Pellets, Soak Them Overnight. Prepare A Container With Boiling Water And Float The Container With The Soaking Glue Over It. Stir It Occasionally And Re-heat The Water If Necessary. The Product Will Melt Into A Jelly-like Substance.
