Comme des Garcons 2 Eau de Parfum, created in 1999 by Mark Buxton, is a game of light and shadow, inspired by the Japanese art of calligraphy and designed for both men and women. It is based on complementary contrasts: technology and the natural. This is why its olfactory composition does not have the typical pyramid structure, but should be interpreted as 2 elements (groups of olfactory notes) which combine with the others to express their richness, allowing the essence of the fragrance to be savoured immediately. The natural or light side of the fragrance is represented by incense, magnolia, patchouli, amber, cedarwood and labdanum; the technological or dark side sees ink and aldehydes. The bottle recalls the shape of a pebble, a stone with rounded edges, wrapped in a silver bag to highlight the contrast between the luxury of the fragrance and the conventionality of industrial packaging.
