Perio·Aid® Treatment gel toothpaste is an oral antiseptic that, when used daily during brushing, fights the bacterial plaque that causes periodontal and peri-implant diseases. Because it contains 0.12% Chlorhexidine, and thanks to its gel form, it can be used as regular toothpaste or applied topically to affected areas. It can be used together with Perio·Aid® Treatment mouthwash.   FÓRMULATION  Chlorhexidine digluconate  0.12% Long-lasting (high substantivity), broad spectrum oral antiseptic effective against oral pathogenic bacteria. Alcohol-free. INDICATIONS Indicated as an adjunct in the treatment of periodontal and peri-implant disease. It is appropriate for post-operative disinfection in the oral cavity (tooth extractions, implant surgery, etc.). It is also apt for people who are at high risk for caries or situations in which proper brushing is not possible. Suitable for people with celiac disease. HOW TO USE Use as regular toothpaste, applying a small amount of gel to your toothbrush. Brush affected areas carefully at least 2 times per day. Can be applied topically to affected areas.
