Pre-session instructions: the area needs to be shaved before the session Post-session instructions: If the skin reddens and develops a raised rash please apply an icepack to the area If the skin breaks and bleeds slightly use aloe vera gel or vaseline to help it heal Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least one week after a treatment Cover the area with clothing and use a sunscreen with at least SPF30 Avoid: picking or scratching the scab using soap or perfumed products on the area for the first 48 hours strenuous physical activities for a couple of days swimming and saunas until the scab has dropped off The number of sessions required can vary based on the tattoo’s age as well as the density and colour of the ink but results can be typically be seen after three treatments spaced over time What does laser tattoo removal involve? Lasers are used to fade unwanted tattoos breaking down colours by reacting with ink pigments. Additional sessions may be needed depending on the size and colour of the tattoo in question with bright colours and UV inks requiring more attention than darker ones. What area can be treated?
