Product Description

Is STEFANO MARCUCCI the Italian answer to David Bowie? Probably not, but his latest album "Tempo Di Demono Papi Angioli Incensi" certainly has us wondering. This experimental odyssey through the realms of jazz, electronic, and world music is equal parts confusing and intriguing. From the chaotic cacophony of "Angioli Incensi" to the dream-like serenity of "Tempo Di Demono," Marcucci takes the listener on a wild ride through his musical psyche. At times, it feels like you're being bombarded with a mishmash of sounds and ideas, but somehow it all comes together to create a strangely cohesive whole. The production on this album is top-notch, with each instrument and voice clearly defined and given room to breathe. Marcucci's vocals are a highlight, switching effortlessly between delicate falsetto and soulful growls. Standout tracks include the hypnotic "Papi" with its infectious groove, and the haunting "Angioli" which builds to a cacophonous crescendo of sound. Overall, "Tempo Di Demono Papi Angioli Incensi" is a challenging listen, but one that rewards patience and repeated listens. Stefano Marcucci may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he's definitely worth a listen for those who appreciate boundary-pushing music that refuses to be pigeonholed.
