Safari Game Drive: Dinokeng Game Reserve

This experience is designed to cater to friends, family or group (double occupancy minimum) that would like to do a safari game drive without having to necessarily sleep over at the park. With a total tour duration of 7 hours from Johannesburg, Dinokeng Game Reserve is Gauteng's largest "Big Five" wildlife sanctuary, located 1 hour, 40 minutes north of Johannesburg and 40 minutes from Pretoria. A game drive session's duration is typically 2 hours and 30 minutes on the open-back 4x4 trucks driven by the resident game ranger, who will narrate fun facts about the park while navigating through the vast, dusty trails. Popular animal sightings to look forward to are hippos, elephants, rhinos, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, kudus, jackals, impalas, wildebeest, and crocodiles.
