Installation Requirements These mats MUST be installed in conjunction with ProFoam or XPS Insulation. When installing carpet/vinyl flooring, Heat-Pak® Dual Overlay must also be used. Ensure that the carpet and underlay combined tog value does not exceed 2.0. Note that in most cases, when carpet is laid, underfloor heating cannot be used as a primary heat source.
