Product Description

The Proctor Brothers Squirrel Trap is a traditional cage trap designed for the humane capture of grey squirrels and similar-sized garden pests such as rats. This galvanised steel cage features a dual-door design that encourages naturally cautious squirrels to enter by providing a visible exit route, addressing their reluctance to enter enclosed spaces without an escape path. When the pest takes the bait, both doors close automatically, safely trapping the animal inside without causing injury. The galvanised steel construction resists rust and corrosion for reliable outdoor use, whilst the integrated carry handle allows for easy transportation of captured animals. This squirrel cage trap arrives fully assembled and ready to use, complete with straightforward setting instructions. Important: Under UK law, it is illegal to release captured live grey squirrels back into the wild. Captured grey squirrels must be humanely dispatched. For guidance on legal requirements and humane despatch methods, contact DEFRA or the RSPCA. Features and Benefits: • Dual-door design exploits natural squirrel behaviour for improved capture success • Galvanised steel construction provides weather resistance for outdoor applications • Supplied fully assembled with carry handle for immediate deployment • 24-inch cage size suitable for grey squirrels and similar-sized pests Specifications: Cage Type: Squirrel Size (in): 24
