The TÜV-tested battery collection container meets all requirements of the current EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and was specially developed for the safe and legally compliant collection of used batteries. The container is made of fire-resistant, galvanised sheet steel, which has also been powder-coated in grey to ensure robust and durable surface protection. For additional safety, the base area is equipped with edge protection. The container is labelled using a supplied sticker with the corresponding battery symbol. The silver front panel is fitted with two insertion slots of different sizes. This allows for the simple and safe disposal of different-sized batteries - without any fuss. Inside, there is a galvanised steel insert that safely collects the batteries. This insert is included in the scope of delivery and can be emptied quickly and easily via the hinged front of the housing. For use at collection points or recycling stations, several containers can be placed modularly next to each other. For this purpose, there are small openings on the sides for a secure connection. It does not have a self-extinguishing function and is not suitable for the storage or disposal of self-igniting or other hazardous waste.
