Guided by former political prisoners, you’ll gain insight into South Africa’s struggle for freedom and view Nelson Mandela’s prison cell. Back on the mainland, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (own expense) before exploring Bo-Kaap, known for its colorful houses and rich Cape Malay culture. Your guide will share stories of the community’s history and influence on Cape Town. Finally, ride the rotating Table Mountain cable car over 1,000 meters above the city. From the top, enjoy stunning 360° views of Cape Town, the Atlantic Ocean, and the rugged coastline.
