This walk begins in the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, at the foot of Table Mountain. As the path winds out of the gardens and into the Constantia Valley, the narrative shifts through the arrival of the Dutch settlers, the shaping of the land into vineyards, and the rise of Constantia as the oldest wine-producing region in the Southern Hemisphere.
