As a hybrid of herbaceous and tree peonies, Bartzella also produces excellent cut flowers for your home.For optimal growth, plant your peony in a sunny or semi-shaded location, ensuring well-drained, rich, fertile soil. Enrich the soil with well-rotted manure or compost before planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply. Plant herbaceous peonies at a depth of approximately 5cm below the soil surface to encourage flowering, as deeper planting can delay this process.Supplied as a Peony Bartzella in a 3.6 Litre pot, the plant's height and spread will vary depending on the season.
