Double branches in a soil stack have a number of uses, but essentially they are used for the purpose of connecting multiple pipe runs, usually in a vertical plane. They are most commonly seen on external elevations, connecting a number of above ground drainage runs together into a single soil stack.As our push fit cast iron soil pipes and fittings are all plain ended, sockets are required to connect this branch to a pipe.All of our push fit cast iron soil fittings are treated to a factory black two-pack gloss paint finish. The whole range is manufactured in grey cast iron to BS EN 1561.This soil pipe range is particularly well-suited to installations in public buildings, listed buildings and conservation projects.
