Our shed bases are a quick and easy to build foundation for the range of shiplap and overlap sheds that we offer from Forest Garden. Timber shed bases are a budget-friendly alternative to more traditional shed base methods such as using slabs or pouring concrete. The timber that these bases are constructed from features a 15-year anti-rot guarantee and an additional benefit that they offer is that they will raise the shed off of the ground slightly which will prevent the splash back of water during periods of heavy rain. All of the required screws for assembling these shed bases are included. All shed bases should be installed on even ground and whilst we wouldn’t recommend fitting a shed base on grass, it can be done if sufficient weed membrane is used.
