Kumho Ecsta R800 Tyre - 175/50 R15, Medium Compound, Left Hand

The Kumho Ecsta R800 is a pure bred rally tyre, developed using Kumho's vast experience in rallying, and designed to take on the rigorous conditions of performance rally events. Over recent years the Kumho tyres have proved themselves in the toughest of competition and is fast becoming a 'must have' tyre on many teams shopping lists, and the R800 is the latest, asymmetrically treaded addition to the range. The R800 has helped top drivers to title and class wins in national championships and is fast becoming one of the tyres to beat!The Ecsta R800 is DOT Approved and has an asymmetrical and directional tread pattern (available in left and right side versions and must be used in matching sets to balance the vehicle) designed for intermediate and hard packed surfaces, as well as sharp shoulder block edges for enhanced cornering traction. The tyre can be grooved as required for very poor conditions. The upper sidewall of the tyre has protector ribs, to help protect the tyre from cuts and loose debris, while the lower sidewall uses protector ribs to prevent debris or objects from being pushed between the sidewall and the rim.On the inside of the tyre the R800 has twin steel belts reinforced with a nylon ply and a two ply rayon carcass, to provide four actual carcass plies, enhancing durability and sidewall protection.
