Night Owl™ was created by Nicholai Wiig Hansen, who was influenced artistically from an early age by his mother, a ceramist, and his father, the well-known painter and sculptor Svend Wiig Hansen. Nicholai Wiig Hansen opened his own design studio at the age of 26, where he devoted himself to a wide variety of tasks. However, his particular interest is light, as light and darkness are part of every day and the need for functional light is essential. The Night Owl™ table lamp is manufactured by the Danish company FRITZ HANSEN, which has been synonymous with outstanding craftsmanship in decorative design for almost 150 years. The company's history is marked by products from renowned designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner, Verner Panton, August Sandgren, Bodil Kjær, Cecilie Manz and Grethe Mayer.
