Accordéon Battery designer table lamp with warm white LEDs and rechargeable battery The Accordéon Battery LED table lamp has a timeless, classic yet modern look. It is part of the Accordéon series, which was designed by the award-winning designer Marc Sadler. Sadler graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1968. With his dissertation on plastics, he was one of the pioneers of experimentation. This innovative and experimental approach continues to characterise his work to this day. In the early 1970s, he developed the first completely recyclable plastic ski boot. He also incorporated his experimentation with plastic into his work for Slamp and developed the Accordéon series with its distinctive pleated lampshades. With its silky matt white surface, the transparent lampshade ensures even light distribution. The round lamp base and brass stand give the table lamp stability and exude a touch of luxury. The battery lasts up to 60 hours and can be recharged at a charging station. Warm white LEDs are installed inside, spreading a pleasant and cosy light and creating a harmonious atmosphere. The LED light is equally suitable as additional lighting in private living areas and as a light source in stylish hotels or restaurants, for example to illuminate a dinner for two. The Italian lighting manufacturer Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani. To this day, the company stands for high-quality lights with a unique and creative design. Since 1994, renowned designers and architects have been developing, shaping and designing extraordinary and decorative designer lights from materials, some of which are patented. These technopolymers are particularly resistant, treated with antistatic properties and the residues are recycled to make nesting boxes for bumblebees.
