Crete: River Trekking at Preveli Beach

Kourtaliotiko gorge, the most ideal place on Crete for river trekking, is able to offer intense experiences, cool moments and tones of fun. The Kourtaliotiko gorge is very long and consist of two parts, the first part from its famous springs until the middle and the second part from the middle of the gorge until the exit, the stunning Preveli beach. On that trip we will hike through the second part of the river which is trickier, challenging and in some parts demanding. Big boulders and small waterfalls help you to escape from your daily routine and gives you a sense of adventure. This is what it makes the river trekking unique, the adventure with funny and safe way! The river ends in the famous beach of Preveli with the palm trees forest, one of the few in Crete where you will have the chance to swim in one of the most recognizable beaches of Greece.
