Thompson and Morgan Canna Cannova Red Golden Flame Plant Pot 9cm

Canna 'Bicolour' is a half-hardy gem, ideal for attracting pollinators whilst providing a vibrant splash of colour to your garden with its striking bicoloured flowers. This provides for pollinators right through to autumn. Plant outdoors from April, once the threat of frost has subsided, in a sunny spot with moist, well-drained soil. Enrich the soil with plenty of well-rotted manure or compost before planting. Position tubers at a depth of 15cm (6") and water thoroughly. For an earlier start, grow tubers in pots of compost in a frost-free greenhouse, transplanting outdoors in June. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Pinch out the growing tips of young stems to encourage a bushier habit and an abundance of flowers. Deadhead spent blooms to promote continuous flowering.
