Product Description

Adorn your garden with the timeless elegance of ‘Hydrangea’ and its heavenly clusters of snowy-white florets, blooming from late July to early October. Hydrangea paniculata Grandiflora is a resilient, deciduous shrub, promising years of stunning displays in garden borders, wildlife spaces, and patio containers. These exquisite blooms are also perfect for creating cut flower arrangements to brighten your home. For optimal growth, plant Hydrangea paniculata in a sunny or semi-shaded location, sheltered from cold, drying winds. These hydrangeas thrive in any non-alkaline, fertile, moist soil. Before planting, enrich the soil with well-rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring it's thoroughly mixed in. Water regularly until the plants are fully established. To protect delicate buds from frost damage, leave the faded flower heads in place until new growth appears in spring. Prune after flowering to maintain the plant's shape and size, reducing stems as needed. Hard pruning of the oldest stems, down to a few buds from ground level, can be tolerated to encourage the production of larger flower heads. Following pruning, apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost around the plant's base.Caution: May cause skin and eye irritation; harmful if ingested.Position: Sun or semi-shade, dappled shade.Height: Reaching up to 300cm (118.1in) when fully established.Spread: Reaching up to 200cm (78.7in) when fully established.Supplied as: 2x Hydrangea Paniculata Grandiflora in 9cm pots. Please note: Images are for illustrative purposes, showing expected results upon maturity. Different growing conditions may affect results. Images may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonal changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
