A dramatic evergreen perennial, Phormium Pink Stripe boasts dark green-bronze foliage edged with a contrasting pink. Its softly arching leaves and upright habit beautifully display the colours of each leaf. Maroon coloured tubular blooms form each summer, creating a stunning display. Ideal for patio containers, cottage garden borders and coastal gardens, this New Zealand Flax looks particularly attractive when set against gravel. For best results, position in full sun, or partial shade. During winter, protect from cold, harsh winds by moving container plants to a sheltered area. Expect a height of up to 2m and spread of 1.5m when fully established. Flowering occurs from June to August.
