Maintain a consistent temperature above 16°C (60°F), with average room temperatures of 18°C (65°F) to 24°C (75°F) being optimal.Water regularly between spring and autumn, allowing the compost to slightly dry out between waterings. Use tepid rainwater whenever possible, and ensure the pot drains thoroughly after each watering. Reduce watering during winter, but never allow the compost to dry out completely. Feed your Calathea regularly between March and September, during its active growth period.Calathea thrives in a humid environment; replicate this by placing the pot on a tray filled with pebbles and water. As the water evaporates, it will naturally increase the humidity surrounding the plant.
