Ideally suited to herbaceous borders and patio containers, these plants also lend themselves beautifully to indoor cut flower arrangements.For best results, plant Verbascum in a sunny spot with well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil. They're particularly tolerant of poor, gravelly soils. To encourage further flowering, remove faded spikes below the lowest flower.
