This stunning Hypericum variety provides year-round interest with its colour-changing foliage, transitioning from lush green to a rich burgundy red in autumn. From late June to early October, golden butter-yellow blooms brighten up garden spaces. This hardy, low-maintenance, deciduous shrub also produces small red fruits in autumn, complementing the bushy foliage. Plant St. John's Wort in any garden soil, in a spot sheltered from cold winds. A versatile plant, Hypericum thrives even in poor, dry soils and deep shade. While young, regular feeding and watering will help Hypericum plants become established. Mature plants require minimal attention. After flowering, lightly prune evergreen Hypericum to remove any dead or damaged growth, and to maintain a pleasing shape. Position in sun or semi-shade.
