For best results, plant in well-drained, acidic soil in a sunny or semi-shaded location. In areas without naturally acidic soil, try growing in patio containers using ericaceous compost mixed with John Innes No. 3. Water with rainwater whenever possible to maintain soil acidity, and protect developing fruits from birds with netting. Little pruning is required, simply remove any damaged or misplaced shoots as needed.Culinary note: Cranberries are high in vitamins and nutrients.
